In 2011 we were thrilled to celebrate 30 years of the Devizes Festival. Bringing an amazing variety of performers to our town over the years is a notable achievement and it’s been exciting to see the Festival grow from a couple of days to two and a half weeks of cultural interest.
We couldn’t have done it alone - we want to thank our sponsors, audiences, friends and committee members past and present; in particular Brewin Dolphin who have stepped forward to be our lead sponsor this year; to Wadworth, Awdry Bailey & Douglas and Devizes Town Council for their continued support and the many other businesses in and around Devizes who sponsor us in so many ways. Thanks to them, and your support, we've managed to keep ticket prices the same as last year. And remember that the Fringe events are free. We hope to see you at some of the marvellous events in this year’s programme and look forward to the next 30 years!
Jenny Groom Chairman – Devizes Festival Committee
As keen supporters of art and culture in our region, we at Brewin Dolphin Marlborough are absolutely delighted to be sponsoring the Devizes Festival for the first time this year.
With an always broad and vibrant programme of events, the Devizes Festival has for years served up world renowned, high quality artists. It is this diverse appeal and the artistic and economic benefits that the Festival brings to our community that has encouraged us to get involved.

Sponsors of the Festival Fringe
Wadworth has been based in Devizes since 1875, when Henry Wadworth bought the Northgate Brewery. He soon realised that this building was too small, and bought a site nearby, completing the splendid Victorian Tower Brewery that you see today.
Devizes is our home and The Heart of Wadworthshire. Our magnificent Shires are a familiar sight in the town, delivering to our pubs and free trade customers. We have 250 pubs with almost 100 in Wiltshire. Information on all the pubs can be found on www.wadworth.co.uk
Wadworth have been supporting the Devizes Festival for many years and are proud to do so again for their 30th anniversary as Festival Fringe sponsors. The link is a good one. Our beer is enjoyed by men and women from all walks of life and ages with varying interests. We try to reflect this in our sponsorship policy – some sporting, some cultural, some charitable and so on.
We are, as always, much impressed by the programme which we are sure you will enjoy, together with a Taste of Wadworthshire.
The box office opening times
will be published closer to the start of the Festival.
